Site Supervisor / Workshop Supervisor | Al-Futtaim Auto Center – Multi Brands Services| Dubai
About the Job:
We are looking to recruit an experienced Site Supervisor / Workshop Supervisor to join our growing team of Al-Futtaim Automotive – Multi Brands Services in Dubai. The main purpose of the role is to provide an excellent aftersales service to the customer whilst ensuring the achievement and exceeding monthly/ annual sales and profitability target.
As a Site Supervisor you will manage the workshop store operations and exercise control of the staff. You will be responsible of receipts, issues, storage and availability of stock and materials, consumables and tools. You will also be in charge of workshop administration and ensure that the assigned service jobs are executed in line with established work procedures, time standards and housekeeping standards.
Specifically, your key responsibilities are as follows:
Recognize fault (or additional fault) and apply necessary action.
Assist/guide fellow technicians in case of difficult problems. Qualified as In Centre Trainer (ICT). Should be able to conduct assessment to co-technicians and recommend needed training.
Ensure satisfactory financial performance, gross margins and turnover to achieve company’s objectives/budgets.
Ensure effective communication for smooth and efficient workshop operations.
Ensure and sustain customer satisfaction to retain current customers and expand new customer base.
Carry out service marketing to enlarge business volume for achieving continuous growth.
Develop the team to a level proficiency to enable then to deliver outstanding quality of service.
Adherence to Departmental SOPs
The ideal candidate for this role should have the following qualifications, knowledge, experience, skills & competencies:
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Technical School Graduate or a Degree or Diploma holder
Minimum Experience: 5 years’ experience as a Senior Technician or Service Supervisor or Team Leader in an automotive workshop. Experience in multi brands services is a definite advantage!
Job-Specific Skills: Can perform minor and major tyre & mechanical services, batteries rectification and repairs. Excellent in communication, analytical and supervisory skills.
