About the Role:
An exciting role has arisen in the Housekeeping department at Burj Al Arab for a highly motivated and hardworking individual. The main purpose of this position is to Supervise and guide housekeeping attendants in assigned areas to ensure highest level of cleanliness in order to achieve maximum guest satisfaction. To provide professional and personalized service to our guests in the hotel, ensuring at all times that guest requirements and needs are met promptly, by following the standard operating procedures.
Your main duties and responsibilities of this role are the following:
To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badge at all times
To maintain high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
To ensures that guest receives ultimate experience and receive a personalized service
To ensure smooth operation and efficiency in designated area of responsibility
To conduct daily briefing for the team
To attend morning and evening meeting with HK management
To ensure that all instructions and guest information is discussed correctly and is followed up in a timely manner.
To be aware of the status of suites on assigned floors
To ensure maximum number of suites are inspected and released on time for the arrival.
To ensure the suites are cleaned and serviced to the highest level in terms of standards and quality.
To ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance and safety by conducting daily inspections of guest suites, corridors, back areas and pantry storage and the trolley.
Be responsible for the inventory of cleaning equipment and supplies and liaise with housekeeping administration for ordering and replacement when necessary.
To respond to any changes in Housekeeping function as directed by the company, hotel or the industry
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Fundamental School Education qualifications
Minimum High School certificate
Minimum of 2 years housekeeping experience in International 5 star property or equivalent
Multi-skilled and experienced in all housekeeping divisions
Knowledge about cleaning materials
Communicates effectively in English, an additional language will be desirable
Basic computer knowledge
Health and safety knowledge
